Only YOU Can Prevent The Spread Of False Gods & Doctrines
Word-Of-The-Day: ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”’ (John 14:6); (10)’…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, (11) and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’ (Philippians 2:10-11); ‘“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me.”’ (Isaiah 43:10)
We see there is a resurgence of Islam and Muslim immigration that is flooding western Europe, the British Isles, and the United States. For all intents, Great Britain has become predominately Muslim, as most government positions, both local and national, are filled with Islamic fundamentalists. Other nations, such as Ireland, Germany, and France, have sizable enclaves of immigrants from the Middle East and Northern Africa who are effectively autonomous; these enclaves practice Sharia law, or the rules laid out in the Islamic Quran, over the national laws they reside in.
A couple of weeks ago, the Spanish territory of Ceuta on the coast of Africa, surrounded by the Islamic-prominent nation of Morocco, was overrun by young Islamic men, and over a two-day period saw eighty-thousand of these men illegally cross into Ceuta (effectively doubling Ceuta’s population), creating havoc for the intent of crossing the Mediterranean into Spain proper, to have easy and open access to the other European nations, which some were able to do.
In the United States, a bit of a longer game is being played, though some recent first-generation Islamic immigrants have won elections into several prominent political positions, including Zohran Mamdani of Uganda winning the New York City mayoral race, and Ilhan Omar of Somalia winning a US House seat in Minnesota. Their platforms are Socialist/Progressive, but they have also consolidated around them support teams of comprised primarily of Islamic fundamentalists.
In other areas where there has been longer-term presence of Islamism, such as in Michigan, natural-born US citizens of the Muslim faith are running, and winning, elections, such as Hamtramck, Michigan where the mayor and City Council are all Muslim and have begun to pass several Islamic-leaning laws, including one prohibiting LGBTQ displays on city property. The Democratic Party US Senatorial candidate is Abdul El-Sayed, a US citizen born in Michigan from Middle Eastern immigrants, and is also a Muslim and progressive candidate.
Also, in Texas, there is a growing Islamic population that has been attempting to establish Islamic-only communities that would set up Sharia law-enforced enclaves, though one attempt, the ‘Epic City’ development, was rejected by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. However, a five-acre ‘Islamic Civic Center’ mosque was recently approved for the city of McKinney, Texas, despite heavy opposition by its current non-Islamic residents.
While we have Faith that our Christian values and beliefs are strong enough to overcome any false religions, in must start first with us being courageous in defending our Faith. We must start our defense with proclaiming who Jesus is. Jesus Himself stated to the Apostles in John 14:6 that only He can provide Salvation.
He prominently states throughout the Gospels that He is God Manifested, our all-God & all-human advocate, the one who God sent out of His Agape Love for us so that, in our acceptance of Jesus as the Only & Righteous Successor to the Reign of David as King, and requesting our forgiveness of our sin and repentance of our sinful nature, Jesus would then become our intercessory or ‘defense lawyer’ to exonerate us from the Creator’s Judgement.
His Judgement without Jesus’ intercession would be ‘guilty’ with a punishment of eternal anguish separated from God, sealed forever in the ‘Lake of Fire’. But with Jesus’ intervention, we are found ‘innocent’ through His sacrifice, and thus are free to spend eternity with God, under the Jesus as our King, in the ‘New Heaven & Earth’ created after Judgement.
We are told, in Isaiah 43:10, that are to be, with courage and conviction, to be God’s witnesses, proclaiming that there is only God, and there is only one Messiah, Jesus, who can bring such a defense to all humans. It is not up for debate that there is only one way to be part of the Eternal Kingdom of God, and that is to be Faithful witnesses and doers of the Word – that only one God exists and that is the Triune God of the unified Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It is through our Faithful witnessing and the courage to do so to attempt to ensure that everyone accepts the true God, through Jesus, now while we are mortal beings with the opportunity toward Salvation. If are attempts are unsuccessful (and unfortunately not everyone will listen to our petitions), they will realize at Judgement Day that our God is the only true God, and they will acknowledge, though too late, this Truth and be pronounced ‘guilty’ and be sentenced to their eternal punishment.
It is not that we want confrontation with any false religion, like Islam, but as Christians in Faith, obedient to our King, Jesus Christ, we must stand up to any false religion, and be the roadblock to stop, or at least impede, the growth of ungodly worship. We do this through speaking up, in our voting and in the public forum, and set the example promoting Jesus and His Gospel by our actions in addition to our words. Be the counterpoint to such heresy, the contrast of falsehoods through the pronouncement of Truth.
That great theologian, Smokey the Bear, once said, “Only YOU can prevent forest fires.” In similar fashion, only YOU can prevent the spread of the false doctrines of Islam and socialism, through your firm but constructive commentary and actions for Christian values and virtues, and against their false pretenses. Be obedient, be strong, and be courageous to the Word of our Lord.
