“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:10-11

Murdock Baptist Church Women’s Ministry Three-fold Vision
- Up-reach – But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18) Equipping and supporting women to strengthen their relationship with God.
- In-reach – Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 12-13) Develop a welcoming environment where every woman at MBC feels included, invited and welcomed – especially those new to Murdock and anyone visiting our church.
- Out-reach – He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15) Include a mission/outreach element in everything we do.
A Special Note to you: Our Women’s Ministry Leadership Team is working hard to bring you opportunities to gather, worship, grow and enjoy our faith journey together. We love to see you at our events, and hope you will find something that blesses you as we experience life along side one another. Please let us know how we can best serve you. 2026 Calendar for Upcoming Women’s Ministry Events
Summer Breeze – The 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 6 pm or Wednesdays at 9:30 am in June/July/August! Workshops for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth.
June 9/10 Pocket Dolls with Gloria Locey; We will assemble adorable vintage dolls to put in Operation Christmas shoeboxes.
June 23/24 – Coasters with Denise Courtney; Put together coasters for everyday use or special ones for Christmas.
July 14/15 – Bible Study Tools/Resources with Amy Tipton; Learn about the many resources available to help you get more out of your daily Bible study and help you grasp God’s Word more fully.
July 23/24 – “Our Father” video with Robin Sloat. This video is based on the Lord’s Prayer by Brad Gray, and we will also be making cards from scraps for our craft!
August 11/12 – All about Bread! with Kaitlyn Wood, local baker! Sample delicious bread and learn some basics of bread-making along with a powerful testimony from Kaitlyn!
August 25/26 – Angel Wings Painting with Betty Teramo; Come and paint a beautiful angel wing picture under the skilled artistry of Betty Teramo – our resident artist at MBC!
Hebrews – Part 2, 11-week Precepts study beginning on Tuesday, September 1st/Wednesday, September 2nd.
Fall Bible Study, “All Things New” by Kelly Minter. Begins on Tuesday, September 1st at 6 pm or Wednesday, September 2nd at 9:30 am. Annie North will facilitate on Tuesdays and Robin Sloat will facilitate on Wednesday mornings.
Fall Mini-retreat – “Love One Another” (date TBD)
Thursday, December 3rd – Prepare Him Room – Lifeway Simulcast
