Our Scripture for 2026:

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:10-11

Our theme for the year is ONE ANOTHER!

Murdock Baptist Church Women’s Ministry Three-fold Vision

1. Up-reach – But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18) Equipping and supporting women to strengthen their relationship with God.
2. In-reach – Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 12-13) Develop a welcoming environment where every woman at MBC feels included, invited and welcomed – especially those new to Murdock and anyone visiting our church.
3. Out-reach – He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15) Include a mission/outreach element in everything we do.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY EVENTS

Hebrews 1-4 – A Precepts Bible Study – 12 weeks, begins Tuesday, January 13th at 6 pm or Wednesday, January 14th at 9:30 am. led by Amy Tipton.

“A Jesus Shaped Life” by Lisa Harper – A 7 week Bible Study with video teaching, “How biblically sound theology deepens our relationship with God and with each other!” Beginning on Tuesday, January 13th at 6 led by Annie North, and Wednesday, January 14th at 9:30 led by Robin Sloat.

March 26th – “Women of Easter” – Encountering Jesus through the Women Who Loved Him.” A drama featuring Mary of Bethany, Mary of Nazareth and Mary Magdalene – based on the book by Liz Curtis Higgs.

Saturday, May 16th – Country Western Barbecue Lunch – 11:30 am

Summer Breeze – The 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings or Wednesday mornings in June/July/August! Workshops for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. Stay tuned for more information.

Hebrews – Part 2, 11-week Precepts study beginning on Tuesday, September 1st/Wednesday, September 2nd.

Fall Mini-retreat – “Love One Another” (date TBD)
