Hebrews 10:23-24
  1. Up-reach But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18) Equipping and supporting women to strengthen their relationship with God.
  2. In-reach Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 12-13) Develop a welcoming environment where every woman at MBC feels included, invited and welcomed – especially those new to Murdock and anyone visiting our church.
  3. Out-reach He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15) Include a mission/outreach element in everything we do.

April 2nd/3rd-April 30th/May 1st Bible Study Tuesday Evening 6-8 pm/Wednesday Morning  9:30-11:30 am “Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 days” By Kay Arthur, led by Amy Tipton

Summer Breeze Calendar

These are fun, workshop type events, each one standing alone to give us an opportunity to be together this summer in fellowship, spiritual growth and some fun thrown in as well!

May 14th-15th  Simple Strategies for Self-Control- Led by Barb Miller Self-control is one of those things that we don’t like to talk about because if we are honest, there are many things we feel are out of control in our lives. Join me as we explore some simple strategies to deal with this last named fruit of the Spirit!

May 28th-29th   Gardening from the Ground Up! Led by Sue SannerMaster Gardener, We will look at three gardens in the Bible and what monumental events took place there.  Then information on soil, fertilizer, water and light, all that makes for a successful garden!  Five plants to look at closer.  A demonstration of how to repot a flower and Q&A time!

June 11th-12th  Talking to God Led by Sharon Walters; Practical helps to make prayer personal and meaningful. Experience a sense of closeness to God through prayer. For those who struggle to have consistent and meaningful prayer. For those who want to develop their prayer life more. Come and together we will talk to God together

June 25th-26th  Unsung Heroes of the Bible –  Led by Annie North; Come and join in on a Character Study of Caleb: One of many unsung Hero’s of the Bible. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and celebrate this spiritual giant of old and the impact he had on the lives of the Chosen people of God. Let’s see how we can apply his attributes to live for Christ; persevering in the tough times we are going through today.

July 9th-10th   Acts 1:8 and Us  Led by Amy Tipton; Curious about how Murdock is involved in missions?  Curious about how we support missionaries here in North America and internationally? Curious about how you can specifically be praying for all of our mission efforts?  Curious about how you can participate in missions through Murdock?  Come to this Summer Breeze session to get answers to these questions.

July 23rd-24th  Meditation Tools from Your ClosetLed by Barb Miller; How can we maximize our quiet time with God everyday! Let’s take a look in our closets and see what tools we can use to remind us of some easy ways to meditate and spend quality time with the Lord! We will have some practice times of meditation using these tools!

August 13th-14th  Created to Create – Led by Robin Sloat; Have you ever wondered at the popularity of the HGTV shows?  Those that flip houses, that make beauty from trash heaps, that take pieces of junk and make something amazing? Come join us as we explore what might draw us to these shows and as we learn more about God! Please bring some glue (for paper), a ruler (will help) and scissors.  We will also make a design that will give us 4 cards!

August 27th-28th  Let Your Light Shine- Led by Artist Betty Teramo; John 8:12 I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life– Come learn about light and glean some painting tips from artist Betty, to create your own light on canvas.
