Keep The Facts As Normal, & Feelings On The Fringe, By Focusing On God & His Word

Word-of-the-Day: ‘<The Lord said to Jeremiah, ‘’(9) The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? (10) “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”’ (Jeremiah 17:9-10); ‘The greedy <or those led by feelings> stir up conflict, but those who trust in the LORD will prosper.’ (Proverbs 28:25); ‘Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.’ (Colossians 3:15)

The resurgence of socialism, or communism as it really is, in the United States and around the world is from a retreat of God and Godly principles.  There has been a push for the fringe elements of society to be recognized as normal; even the fringe ideas of a small percentage of people are given the voice over what is normal.  What was once shunned as depraved and reprobate is now pushed as not only acceptable, but now something as is in vogue, a behavior or action that all should participate in and encourage.

There are many examples.  In the early 1990s, we found the concept of the normal drive of man’s attraction to females as us men being ‘male lesbians’, or the push to normalize the fringe behavior of lesbian or female homosexuality as being what the natural attraction of human males to the human females was driven by; that males were really not normally heterosexual in nature, but having ‘misplaced’ homosexual drives in desiring females.  It marked an early stage, if not the beginning, of the attempts to make normal what was abnormal, to explain normal behavior as deviant and deviancy as actually being normal.

Obviously, this is a ‘feeling’ of some in a fringe psychological clique that was created to approve of something fringe; to forego the facts of God’s Creation and the nature of men that He gave us (and women, who obviously their attraction to men could be considered abnormal, as well). 

It was laughed off by those of us who saw this as nothing but a ridiculous (and very wrong) proposal, but those who had developed this ‘feeling’ and perception have continued to push the envelope, and today we have ‘gender dysphoria and confusion’, along with a ‘Heinz 57 variety’ of genders made up by their ‘feelings’, though in fact there are only the two genders God created in Genesis 2 that are still the only two factually existing today.

This is one example of many other fringe ideas that have grown in the secular worldview of the agnostic, those who choose not to acknowledge the facts of God and His Creation.  In His giving of prophecy to Jeremiah in 17:9-10, God provides those feelings from the fringe, from the heart of those without Him, are deceitful, a lie against the facts and difficult for those who are ‘normal’ live according to facts find bizarre and incomprehensible.

While there are those who live within the parameters of natural facts and not of Biblical ones, these people are closer to God that those who follow feelings as they at least acknowledge Creation as being correct in its setup and operations, though they do not acknowledge the Creator.  Those who are driven by their feelings overriding the facts in front of them not only deny God but the evidence that is in front of them, seen by their very eyes.

It is a form of greed, a placement of self-importance and a taking of God’s role in their lives, replacing Him with themselves in the driver’s seat.  Conflicts arise from this as it goes against God and His natural creation of things and its operations. 

Taking away from God and His natural workings are always done with feeling; if there were any consideration of the facts it would be seen as folly.  Proverbs 28:25 describes this conflict as being against God and thus those who exhibit greed will face consequences and curses, while those who follow God’s Word and the facts and trust in Him and His creation will prosper and be blessed.

There is a cure that God gave us to remove ourselves from the greed of our feelings and go back to living a life based on facts.  It is His Son, Jesus, who He gave to us so that we could be reconciled with Him and those facts.  Colossians 3:15 is from Paul telling the followers who formed the church of Colossae not to be divided by following their individual feelings, but instead to be led by Christ and His facts, and collectively be in His peace and strength.

Being on the fringe is edgy, but being on the edge is often deadly.  The edge is never firm, and one can fall off into a deep chasm of which there is no escape, or the edge can be sharp and cut someone into pieces. 

Don’t live on the fringe or on the edge, but stand firmly on the Foundation of Facts, the Godly facts that He gives us in His Holy Word and base yourself in that firm element that will never give way or cut into your soul.  Be Righteous, be Godly, and live according to the facts, and never by the lies your feelings present.
