December 17 – Day 18
1 Timothy 1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst. But for that reason, I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the king, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, the honor and glory forever and ever. Amen
As we walk through this advent season, let us take a look at how we view Jesus in our life. If we truly reflect on our lives and are honest with ourselves, do we see Jesus as a baby still in our life or is He our King Eternal! Are we putting Jesus first in our life? This time of year as we celebrate the birth of Christ it is a great time to get personal with ourselves, to check ourselves. Making sure that we are putting King Eternal first in our lives. Let us not get wrapped up in how many presents we have to purchase for people. May we focus on truly what’s important, our Lord Jesus Christ, and our relationship with Him. If we put Him first in our life, everything else will fall into place. Now to the King Eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, the honor and glory forever and ever. Amen!
