Good News Club
Good News Club is an after-school activity for elementary school students in Charlotte County. Every Elementary School this past school year has had a Murdock Baptist Church member partner with it to work toward bringing prayer back into the schools.Â
Celebration of Life Ceremonies
A celebration of life ceremony is designed to allow people to say goodbye and remember the person who has passed away. Here at Murdock Baptist Church we honor our church members and their families and help them in the process of grieving a love one.
For more information, contact our office.
Parent Child Dedication
Murdock Baptist Church has put together a short course that is intentionally designed to help you consider the commitment that you are making. We do not want anyone to think of Dedication as a one-time event to celebrate a child, but rather a lifetime commitment to making the tough decisions that are required to raise that child in a way that honors God.

Members of CarePortal
In 2021, The Safe Children Coalition began partnering with local churches through CarePortal to meet the urgent needs of the vulnerable children and families. Â Within 12 months, the organization reported a decrease in the number of children entering out-of-home foster care.
Murdock Baptist Church is proud to be a member of CarePortal. We have an opportunity to partner with child-serving professionals, local churches, and community members to meet urgent, real-time need of children and families. Here’s how it works:
- A child or family in need requires help from a child-serving professional.
- The child-serving professional vets and types their needs into CarePortal.
- CarePortal alerts nearby churches and community members to needs.
- Churches and community members partner to ensure that the child and family is helped.
