Our Scripture for this Year

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. HOPE is our word for the year!

Murdock Baptist Church Women’s Ministry Three-fold Vision

1. Up-reach But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18) Equipping and supporting women to strengthen their relationship with God.
2. In-reach Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 12-13) Develop a welcoming environment where every woman at MBC feels included, invited and welcomed – especially those new to Murdock and anyone visiting our church.
3. Out-reach He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15) Include a mission/outreach element in everything we do.

A Special Note to you: Our Women’s Ministry Leadership Team is working hard to bring you opportunities to gather, worship, grow and enjoy our faith journey together.   “Count Your Blessings” Mini-Retreat, Saturday, November 16, 8:30-12 noon at MBC. Join us for continental breakfast, worship, and a morning full of blessings, and insights as we cultivate our attitude of gratitude and gratefulness together, preparing our hearts for Thanksgiving!   Cost: $10   Tickets are on sale now after service on Sunday mornings!

              “Prepare Him Room” An Advent Evening. Thursday, December 5^th at 6:00 pm in Building B. We invite you to come intentionally seeking Jesus before the holiday rush! We will be immersed in an atmosphere of worship, encouragement and teaching that will inspire us to create room in our hearts, homes and community this season. Jennifer Rothschild will be leading this virtual event that you don’t want to miss.
