Women’s Ministry

Our Scripture for 2025:

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in Him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NKJV) Our word for the year is ABIDE!

Murdock Baptist Church Women’s Ministry Three-fold Vision

1. Up-reach But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18) Equipping and supporting women to strengthen their relationship with God.
2. In-reach Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 12-13) Develop a welcoming environment where every woman at MBC feels included, invited and welcomed – especially those new to Murdock and anyone visiting our church.
3. Out-reach He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15) Include a mission/outreach element in everything we do.

A Special Note to you: Our Women’s Ministry Leadership Team is working hard to bring you opportunities to gather, worship, grow and enjoy our faith journey together. Current Calendar for Women’s Ministry Events:

January-February

“The Power of Knowing God” Bible study by Kay Arthur, led by Debbie Crawford. Tuesday evenings at 6 pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. This is a 6 week study with no homework beginning on January 7/8. Room 106-107.

  “The Covenant” – a precepts study beginning on February 18/19, on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. This is a 12-week study led by Amy Tipton.

February 6th – Thursday evening at 6:00 pm – Join us as we Launch the 2025 Women’s Ministry Calendar and get acquainted with our new members. Find out what is coming this year and how you can get involved!
