We all recognize the immense power of prayer; we see it at work every day. Prayer is an act of worship that glorifies God and reinforces our need for Him, and it is a vital part of the MBC community of faith.
We invite you to post a prayer request, which can be done anonymously if you prefer, in the space below.
Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:Â Â that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Monday Night Life! Prayer List - 8 April 2024
Mike & Carol D’Onofrio – Continue to pray for the Lord’s direction for daughter Iris to turn away from her destructive nature; continue to pray for the Lord’s healing upon Carol’s parents as they are in poor health and for them to accept Christ as their Savior; pray for the Lord’s provision of safe travel and protection as son Luke prepares to come to Florida (from South Dakota) to visit in May; pray for the Lord’s strength upon Carol as she is transferring many of her parents’ commitments to her for upkeeping.
Jessica Williams – Pray for the Lord’s direction and wisdom upon Jessica for unspoken needs.
Randy & Krista Uplinger – Pray for the Lord’s strength and healing upon Randy as he is undergoing tests and treatment for a torn meniscus and other damage in his knee, and is having a surgical consult on Wednesday.
Roger Will – Praise the Lord as Bruce Vermette’s a-fib went away on its own (due to the many prayers the Lord received to heal Bruce!); praise the Lord Roger is doing well; pray for the Lord’s healing, comfort and most importantly His saving grace upon veterans/friends Brian, John, Fred, and Bruce, who all have medical issues and their need to seek the Lord and His salvation.
Beth Baker – Continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Beth as she is battling several medical issues, and is undergoing treatments for each to improve her conditions.
John Capo – Pray for the Lord’s healing upon John’s neck as he has a chronic issue (arthritis) in it that causes him some pain.
Estill & Phyllis Eversole – Continue to pray for the Lord’s strength and wisdom upon Estill & Phyllis as they are selling their home to move to Nokomis with daughter Renee and son-in-law Jack; continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Estill’s brother Larry who is having health issues.
Art & Carolyn Anderson – Pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Art, who is being released from Share Point Hospital after suffering from breathing issues due to pneumonia, and may be getting a ‘Watchman’ implant to remove him from Eliquis medication he is taking.
Ray Brier –Continue to pray for the Lord’s wisdom, guidance and direction for Ray, former wife Pauline, daughter Amanda and grandson Jace to resolve and heal up family issues; continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Pauline for her long-term health issues; pray for the Lord’s healing upon Ray as Ray is having an ultrasound on his heart performed today; praise the Lord as Ray is working in construction in the West Port development (between 776 and US41).
Bruce Meents – Praise the Lord that all is well with him and wife Judy; pray for the Lord’s healing upon their niece’s husband who had his appendix removed on Sunday; pray for the Lord’s protection and safe travel as their children’s went to their family farm to see the eclipse and are returning home.
Mike & Diane Carr –Pray for the Lord’s guidance upon the workers who are installing a new roof on the Carr’s home, and for them to do the work properly; pray for niece Chrissy who is having heart issues; pray for nephew-in-law Randy (Chrissy’s husband) to receive Jesus as His savior.
Lori Zimmerman – Praise the Lord as Lori is doing well; pray for the Lord’s intervention to solve IT problems at the VA Clinic for herself and her co-workers.
Max and Anna Breshears –Pray for the Lord’s protection and provision of safe travel for Max and Anna as are in Chicago visiting their grandson Jackson through tomorrow before heading home to Kansas City; pray for the Lord’s protection upon Jackson as he will be heading back to Rota, Spain to join back with his ship after his training is complete.
JoAnn Villiard – Continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon son-in-law Paul, who is recovering from his reconstructive surgery on his left humorous bone and shoulder and will be in a rehab center for several weeks to undergo intensive therapy (3 hours a day); continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon JoAnn as she continues her own therapy sessions on her left shoulder injury.
Elmer & Shirley Yeager – Continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and strength upon our daughter-in-law Brittany and our unborn grandson Benjamin, who is expected to appear in May 2024; continue to pray for the Lord to provide His guidance and resolution for issues between our son Doug and his son/our grandson Hayden; continue to pray for the Lord’s salvation to come upon our grandchildren (Hayden, Braylen, and Addison); continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Shirley as she is seeing a urologist today for her bladder pain.
Anonymous – Continue to pray for the Lord’s direction and intervention for an adult grandson who has been sentenced to prison for 2-4 years as a result of domestic assault charges stemming from alcohol abuse, pray for the Lord to allow him to hear the Gospel message; pray for the Lord’s intervention and remove the evil that is upon the grandson’s wife, who is filing for divorce and with her mother is now raising their two young boys (4 and 8) as girls, having them wear dresses to school and painting their nails.
The McGovern Family – Continue to pray for the Lord’s healing and comfort upon Megan, who is suffering from liver failure and kidney issues, and pray for the Lord’s strength and encouragement upon parents Bob & Linda, who previously lost a daughter to similar issues several years ago and are discouraged and troubled.
‘In Pectoris’ – Pray for the Lord’s healing upon people wishing to be unnamed for recent health issues that have arose.
