Let’s Celebrate! We’re 10 for 10!
Praise the Lord! We are absolutely thrilled to announce an incredible milestone for the CEF Southwest Chapter of Florida! For the first time in our history, we have a Good News Club in every public elementary school in Charlotte County! Yes, you read that right – 10 for 10!
This is a momentous occasion, a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer. We have been praying for this day for a long time, believing that every child in our community deserves the opportunity to hear the Good News. And now, through God’s perfect timing and the dedication of so many volunteers, that prayer has been answered!
This incredible achievement wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of our community, our dedicated volunteers, and, most importantly, God’s grace. We are so grateful for everyone who has played a part in making this dream a reality. From those who have prayed alongside us, to those who have given generously, to the brave individuals who have stepped up to lead these clubs – thank you! You are all a vital part of this amazing work.
And what an amazing work it is! We’re excited to share that these Good News Clubs are now reaching students at Deep Creek, East, Kingsway, Liberty, Meadow Park, Myakka River, Neil Armstrong, Peace River, Sallie Jones, and Vineland Elementary Schools. That’s all ten elementary schools in Charlotte County! Each week, these clubs are impacting the lives of approximately 314 students. We’ve also seen 25 precious children make salvation decisions, a true testament to the power of the Gospel!
This incredible outreach is supported by 100 dedicated volunteers from 11 partnering churches and guided by one amazing ministry coordinator. The collaborative effort is truly inspiring, and we are so thankful for everyone working together to make this possible.
The impact of having a Good News Club in every elementary school in Charlotte County is immeasurable. These clubs provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn about God’s love, develop strong character, and build positive relationships.

We are so thankful for His provision and guidance, and we are excited to continue serving the children and families of Charlotte County. We encourage you to continue praying for these clubs, the volunteers who lead them, and the children who attend. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our youth.
