DESCRIPTION:OPEN TO PUBLIC \n\n\n\nIt may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future with the loss of a loved one. This can be a confusing time and you may even feel isolated with few people around you who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare meets weekly to help you face the challenges of life as you move towards rebuilding. You will find a warm\, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are three distinct elements to GriefShare: Video seminar featuring expert counselors\, support group discussion\, and personal workbook study. This program is available to all who have lost a loved one. View the below video to get a good sense of what this program offers. \n\n\n \n\n\n\nMurdock Baptist Church invites you to the GriefShare program beginning Wednesday\, June 14th\, and continuing for thirteen sequential sessions. This is a video/workbook-based program with a cost of $25 which includes the workbook. Scholarships are available. During each session\, we watch a teaching video after which a few questions are posed to stimulate discussion. You may start at any time and work in your workbook as much as you like. You are never required to share any more than you are comfortable with. There are no requirements for participation but many benefits. Drinks and Snacks are supplied. \n\n\n\nYou may register in advance at the church office\, online at GriefShare.org\, or do it at the first session you attend. We meet in rooms 101/102 (behind the baptismal) at Murdock Baptist Church each Wednesday night from June 14 – September 6. \n\n\n\nYour facilitators\, Carol Millikin\, Tom Gerla\, and Darryl Denson\, are looking forward to meeting you.
